Tyler Dorsey’s first Mavericks photoshoot
The Mavericks hosted their own media day, which means Tyler Dorsey also got the chance to take his first photo in his new team’s jersey by choosing his favorite “5,” just like he did at Oregon College.
Tyler Dorsey returned to the NBA after a successful season at Olympiakos for the Mavericks and attended the first team photo like any other player.
The expatriate guard thus appeared in front of a lens in the Mavs jersey for the first time, having opted for the No. 5 jersey. In other words, he returned to the number that accompanied him at the College of Oregon, because in the 2021/22 season at Olympiakos he had the No. 2 on the jersey, with the No. 5 being… a reserve of Giannoulis Larentzakis was.
In fact, Dorsey – who has signed a two-way deal with Dallas – also uploaded a behind-the-scenes photo to social media and captioned it “Year 6,” implying that this is the 6th professional season of his career his is dropping out of college.
