The Clippers came out mostly with pads in their season opener against Maccabi Ra’anana in Seattle but had no problem claiming a comfortable 121-81 win. They didn’t show up, Leonard, George and Wall.

The Clippers got off to a good start in the preseason, easily winning with Maccabi Ranana 121-81 in a friendly in Seattle.

Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Reggie Jackson, John Wall, Norman Powell, Nikola Batum and Ivica Zubac didn’t play for LA, but that didn’t matter against a weak opponent.

Luke Kennard’s 16 points led the way for the winners, with Moussa Diabate, Moses Brown and Michael Devoe each adding 14 points.

For Raanana, Anthony Morse had 20 points and Jason Seegers had 15 points, while a month-old Olympiakos player Briante Weber had 8 points on 2/10 shooting in 21 minutes.
