The Raptors’ top five all scored more than 15 points and the Toronto Raptors defeated the Charlotte Hornets 116-101. The Toronto team signs the sixth consecutive victory.

Pascal Shiakam and Gary Trent Jr. led the Raptors with 24 points each. Shiakam also collected 11 rebounds to get the double.

Fred VanVleet was effective from the center, scoring six of 11 attempts. VanVleet became the fifth player in NBA history to shoot at least three of the three in 13 consecutive road races.

For the Hornets, Miles Bridges was the best of his team with 25 points. LaMelo Ball had a tough game with 15 points and seven rebounds, while making just five of 19 shots.

Charlotte lost the services of Gordon Hayward early in the first quarter with an ankle injury.
