LeBron: ‘We’re not at the Bucks’ level and we can’t get to it while we’re playing’
Honestly to…cynically, LeBron James said the Lakers aren’t at the Bucks’ level right now and he’s not sure they can match them the way they’re playing.
LeBron James and the Lakers bowed out to Giannis Antitokoumbo’s Bucks, with Milwaukee easily prevailing 131-116 in Los Angeles. So the “King” was completely honest after the game and said that the Lakers can’t get close to the Bucks at the moment.
“This defeat tells us that we are not at their level. LeBron initially said, then added after being asked if the Lakers could reach that level, “¨So how are we doing at the moment? I do not know. If I think we can get to where Milwaukee is? No. Is that what you wanted to hear?”
To conclude his post, the “King” added: “I always talk about now, I don’t know what will happen in the future. But they are the champions for a reason. I guarantee you our opponents thought so last year when they found us against them as last year’s champions.
