Warriors party ahead of Draymond Green’s final return
Pending the addition of Draymond Green, who was only fined, to practice, the Warriors beat the Blazers in San Francisco for the NBA preseason. Good performance by Alexei Pokusevsky in the Thunders victory.
The Warriors organization appears to be absorbing the shock of the recent shocking incident involving Draymond Green and his punch at Jordan Poole.
In fact, the 32-year-old power forward is set to return to the team after the days off of the previous days and the fine imposed on him as punishment, according to Steve Kerr, who took the lead in internal discussions. We feel this is the best way to continue after a tiring process“. He even spoke of the “bigger crisis‘ that he had to deal with “since I’ve been training here“.
Previously, the champions (sans Curry, Thompson, Poole, Iguodala, Wiggins and Looney) put in an impressive performance in the preseason game against the Blazers, winning 131-98 at home. JaMichael Green and Moody were the team’s top scorers with 20 points, but the really good news was James Wiseman’s 18 points on 6/8 2-point shooting and 7 rebounds in 18 minutes of action.
A positive sign for his appearance Alexei Pokushevsky in the Thunder’s 115-199 win over the Pistons. The Serbian forward came off the bench, played 27 minutes and finished the game with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists.
