Luka Doncic was on the gas early and led the Dallas Mavericks to a 137-96 win over the Memphis Grizzlies in the home opener of the season. Tyler Dorsey scored 9 points with 4/4 shooting.

Those who were waiting for Luka Doncic’s clash with Ja Morad in the early hours of Sunday, October 23, saw that the former had “quit” the game prematurely. The former Real Madrid player had more points than the entire Memphis team (21-17) and led the way to Dallas’ +41 (137-96) in the first game of the regular season at American Airlines Center.

The +22 in the first section explained everything needed for the picture of the game, with Luka Doncic staying down 29’58” and filling his stats with 32 points (with 12/23 shots and 4/5 shots ), 7 rebounds and 10 assists, while Christian Wood had a double-double (25 points, 12 rebounds) in 25’06” of participation. And the one across the street? Yes Morad wasn’t himself, he was limited to 20 points (on 6/12 shooting and 8/8 shooting) and 4 assists on a night he’d like to forget.

Tyler Dorsey needed time (4’17”) in garbage time and finished the match with 9 points without a miss (3/3 doubles, 1/1 trebles) and 2 rebounds.
