After two straight losses, the Miami Heat prevailed over the Toronto Raptors (112-109) and broke the pomegranate for the new NBA season.
The back-to-back losses earlier in the season had hurt the ego of the Miami Heat, who played in the early hours of Sunday, October 23 against the Toronto Raptors (112-109).
Armed with an impressive second quarter (33-17), Erik Spoelstra’s team prevailed while having five players with double-digit points. Jimmy Butler led all with 24 points (on 7/16 shooting and 9/11 shooting), followed by Max Struss with 20 points (on 3/7 threes).
On the other hand, Pascal Siakam and Gary Train Jr. had 46 points on 15/37 shooting and 6/8 shooting but couldn’t prevent Toronto’s second loss in three games.
