Giannis: “It doesn’t mean a 4-0 start after we started 7-0 and didn’t win the title”
Giannis Antetokounmpo said after defeating the Knicks that he doesn’t care about starting with 4 consecutive wins for the Bucks but that they play decent basketball, citing as an example the 2018-19 season where Milwaukee started with a record of 7 -0 but did not win the title.

In 2019/20 we were like that, we had a team that scored a lot of goals, we won by 10-15 points on average, but in the end it was the defense that counted, who would attack the ball, get the rebound. This is who we are now, this is our identity. Sometimes we’ll score, sometimes not, but our defense has to be there.”
Whether it’s important for the Bucks to have enough experienced players who will continue to defend even when shots don’t go in: “I think it’s a matter of maturity. I adore it Sometimes we don’t shoot and we still play defense, it’s part of us. I hope we keep this up.
