Hours after Joshua Primo was released by Spurs for mental health issues, American media revealed the reason was because the Canadian guard was showing off and being blamed by a team official.

The Spurs’ sudden release of Joshua Primo caused an uproar in the NBA, with the Canadian guard citing health reasons. Understandably, the true reasons for his release would soon become known. And it was only a few hours before the reason for his removal from the team was revealed.

As revealed by ESPN, the reason the Spurs released No. 12 of the 2021 NBA draft was because he was a showoff. After it became known, Primo made several indecent gestures towards the organization’s employees until one of them finally denounced him.

As it turns out, that particular message made even more noise and now it remains to be seen what will follow for Primo. For the record, if no team calls him off the waiver list by tomorrow (October 31), the Canadian guard will automatically become a free agent.
