After five straight losses, the Los Angeles Lakers broke the pomegranate in the NBA for 2022-23, winning at home to the Denver Nuggets (121-110).

Five straight losses early in the season was a lot for the Los Angeles Lakers. Too many. However, in the early morning hours of Monday, October 31st, this negative series ended.

LeBron James defeated the Denver Nuggets 121-110 at home to earn the seed for the 2022-23 season, with LeBron James and Anthony Davis in a matchup in which Los Angeles shot from the outside line decently overall (43.3% ), took the lead.

The former filled his stats with 26 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists, while the latter added 23 points and 15 rebounds and seemed untroubled by the back problems.

The two, along with Russell Westbrook (18 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists) and Lonnie Walker (18 points, 5 rebounds), made up the difference for LA, who with 37.5% of the Denver Nuggets didn’t even pay for the three-pointer yet new full performance by Nikola Jokic (23 points, 14 rebounds, 6 assists).
