Conaton undergoing surgery and hoping to miss regular season finale
The Bucks will be without Pat Conaton for several weeks, who will need surgery on his right wrist to return to the court just before the start of the playoffs.
As expected, Pat Conaton is ready to walk through the operating room door. The Milwaukee Bucks winger suffered a fracture of the fourth metacarpal of his right hand in the away game against the Phoenix Suns, with the result that his team lost a valuable player in the rotation and are looking for a way to close the gap as soon as possible.
The 29-year-old underdog is having the best season of his career (10.1 points, 40.7% on 3-points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.2 assists, one steal, 0.6 errors per 27 minutes in 54 games ) he can enter three positions, he can either stand as a five in the possible absence of one of Allen, Middleton, Antetokunbo, but usually enters as a seventh player. And Budenholzer won’t have him available for the next few weeks.
If all goes well, Conaton will return for the final games of the regular season, allowing for a few performances to pick up the pace again as we head into the playoffs. However, the bucks must be replenished immediately after the transfer of three players before the close of trading.
