Kawhi Leonard remains extra cautious about his knee surgery, with Tyronn Lue stating the 31-year-old forward is set to miss a few more games.

Kawhi Leonard played two games in the season opener (he came on as a substitute), missed the last three and is officially announced to be out for a few more days. The 31-year-old forward, who missed all of last season through injury, is cautious about managing his knee surgery, with Tyronn Lue telling reporters he will miss the upcoming mini-road trip.

The Los Angeles Clippers will play the Houston Rockets and the San Antonio Spurs in the coming days, but Kawhi Leonard will not follow suit.

When will he return? There’s no clear timeline at this time, largely because both he and the Los Angeles Clippers medical staff want to be extra careful with back-to-back workloads.
