Jason Tatum scored 38 points and helped the Boston Celtics to their 8th straight win, 105-95 over the Atlanta Hawks.

Tatum also added 10 rebounds to just over 40 minutes of play.

Tatum was assisted with 17 points by Jalen Brown, 14 points by Derrick White and 13 points by Marcus Smart. Robert Williams excelled under the basket with 14 rebounds.

Back with 10 points after two ten minutes, the Cetics offered a 42 point boost in the third ten minutes to take the lead and ran towards victory.

At the Hawks’ camp, Tray Young had a productive game with 30 points and 10 assists. Bogdan Bogdanovic added 26 points to the defeat.

Thanks to this victory, the Celtics are two games behind the 76ers and 5th in the East.

Atlanta has lost its last two games and five of its last ten meetings.

The Timberwolves beat the Pacers

With 37 points, Anthony Edwards led the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 129-120 victory over the Indiana Pacers.

Minnesota took advantage of the productive 3rd quarter of 41 points to resist the Pacers.

D’Angelo Russell contributed 23 points and Carl Anthony Towns with 15 points and 13 rebounds.

In the defeat, Tyrese Haliburton scored 22 points and added 16 assists.

Oshae Brissett was successful with 22 points and 13 rebounds, while Lance Stephenson had 21 points for the Pacers. Jalen Smith finished the game with 17 points and 12 rebounds.

The Pacers have lost their last six games.
