John for Ibaka: “It will help us and become an important part of what we do”
Giannis Antitokoumbo didn’t hide his delight at the addition of Serge Ibaka, stating that the veteran forward/center will help the Bucks in their title fight.
Serge Ibaka was the Bucks’ big transfer deal in the deadline and Giannis Antetokunbo made sure he endorsed the move with testimony.
Speaking to the media about the acquisition of the veteran forward/center, the ‘Greek Freak’ had nothing but good things to say about his new teammate.
“It will help us” John said first, only to add later: “He knows it’s coming and that it’s going to be a big part of what we’re trying to do. He knows what we want to achieve. He is ready. ”
For his part, Serge Ibaka couldn’t help but mention his coexistence with John, saying: “It’s one of the best rim protectors in the NBA and I love protecting the basket. I think it will be nice for us if we live together on the ground”.
