Problem with Duarte at the Pacers, doubtful for the Rising Stars Challenge
Pacers’ Chris Duarte was injured in his left toe and his participation in All Star Weekend’s Rising Stars Challenge is now in doubt.
Chris Duarte was unlucky and will miss the next few Pacers games until the All Star Break. At the same time, however, it is now possible not to take part in the renewed “Rising Stars Challenge”.
According to Indiana, the young guard has an injury problem in his left toe, which means he’s not sure yet if he will take part in the league’s rising stars match. Should he fail he will need to be replaced, with Warriors’ Jonathan Cuminga being one of his key candidates.
This year, in his rookie season, Duarte has 13.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1 steal average with 36.4% on three points in 29 minutes of attendance.
