Dallas Mavericks moved pieces in the last market, but one thing is very clear: it’s his team Luka Doncic and anyone else. The Texans, on offense, are completely dependent on what the Slovenian does, and fortunately for them, Luka it looks better and better when attacking.
Doncic’s spectacular start to the 2022 signing season reaffirms this, with top stats and a legend brand.

Luca left another master class in Dallas’ agonizing win (no minutes for Faku Cabazzo) vs Brooklyn 96-94 (Kevin Durant missed a pair of free throws in the final game to tie the game), ending the night with 36 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 11-22 from the field. In this way, it already is nine straight games with at least 30 points to open in 2022-2023.
The Slovenian brand is already the second biggest ever to open a campaign, just behind the the forever elusive Wilt Chamberlainwho in the 1962-1963 season did not drop below 30 points in his first 24 entries.
But aside from Wilt in 1962, no one has matched what Doncic did this year. Even when she fails, the former Real Madrid man manages to leave best moments spectacular.

Doncic is currently registering 36 points per game, which makes him the leading scorer in the NBA, and all of these exceed 50% of the field. His ball usage is second to none in the league (39.4%), but the Mavericks need that prolific Doncic to have today Point 6-3.

How much more Luke magic will we see? He currently appears as the early contender for the 2022-2023 NBA scoring title, while Giannis Antetokounmpo is fighting for the MVP.
