Free agent Goran Dragic, who will choose the next stage of his career after several proposals are on the table.
Goran Dragic is free to continue his career in any team from Tuesday afternoon (February 15). The 35-year-old (turns 36 on May 6) Slovenian guard moved from Toronto to San Antonio just before the trade deadline, was released today and can now choose his future as a free agent.
In 13 seasons (this year is his 14th) in the NBA, Dragic has 13.9 points (50.6% in two points, 36.4% in three points, 76.7% in shots), 3.1 rebounds, 4.8 assists and one steal per 27.9 minutes in 872 games with the Suns, Rockets, Heat and Raptors, with whom he played in just five games.
Dragic is in the crosshairs of half a dozen teams looking to go deep in the playoffs. From the Lakers and the Mavericks to the Milwaukee Bucks in dire need of peripherals after Dode DiVincenzo’s move to the Kings, the loss of Hood-Ozelege and Conaton’s injury.
