They’ve gone crazy in Taiwan and they want Carmelo Anthony too
Chaos in Taiwan, with a team “sweetened” by the Taoyuan Leopards’ deal with Dwight Howard and in negotiations with Carmelo Anthony packing his bags.
It’s been a crazy day for Taiwanese basketball as another team in the country has its sights set on an even bigger NBA player following the deal with the Taoyuan Leopards’ Dwight Howard.
The Tainan Ghosthawks are poised to break the tally for Carmelo Anthony (22.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists per 34.5 minutes in 1,260 regular-season games), the team’s coach said at a news conference on Aug Sunday (13.11.). Negotiations with the member’s representatives have already begun, and all indications are that the group, funded by Taiwan Steel Group, will bid the right sum to also make history.
It is recalled that the Taoyuan Leopards welcomed Howard and said they had sold 60,000 tickets for their first four games in 10 minutes, while the veteran center will receive $1,000,000 to advance in this six-team league to play.
