Shocking performance by Joel Embiid with 59 points, 11 rebounds, 8 assists and 7 blocks. The Cameroonian center almost single-handedly beat the Jazz and scored 26 of the Sixers’ 27 points in the final third!
The Sixers’ 105-98 win over the Jazz bears the name of Joel Embiid.
The Cameroonian center produced sensational things on the Wells Fargo Center floor, scoring 59 points (18/23 2-points, 1/5 3-points, 20/24 shots) along with 11 rebounds, 8 assists, 1 steal, 7 blocks and 5 turnovers, start and finish of course for the Philadelphia team as he was the one to score 26 of his team’s 27 points in the final period!
And all while Embiid had scored 42 points in the Sixers’ previous game to go for 101 over a weekend!
The Doc Rivers team now has four days of rest before playing back-to-back games against the Milwaukee Bucks and Minnesota Timberwolves.
Standing out on the losing side was Lauri Markkanen, who hit a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
