The Nets beat Portland with Super Durant and hero O’Neal

A sensational game took place in Portland, with the Nets winning the finals 109-107 thanks to a layup by Royce O’Neal with 1 second to go. Shocking Durant with 35 points, Ben Simmons double-double.

The networks are far from what they want. They await the reinstatement of Kyrie Irving – immediately. But in the meantime, they pulled off an inspired win in Portland, winning 107-109 after a shocking game with the Blazers thanks to a follow-up from Royce O’Neal with 1 second left in the Finals.


O’Neal was the hero out of nowhere for the Nets, having a career night with 11 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. Up to this point, of course, it was Kevin Durant (35 points) who carried the nets, receiving important help from Yuta Watanabe (20 points with 5/7 threes), but also Ben Simmons, who scored his first double-double with the Nets -Jersey with 15 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists.


With the Blazers, Damien Lillard had 25 points (but 8/24 shooting) and 11 assists, Anferni Simons 24 points and Sharon Sharpe 20 points. Jusuf Nurkic’s contribution was also valuable with 17 points (and a basket and a foul to make it 107:107), but none of that was enough for the Blazers.
