Spurs, Primo and the psychologist who treated them agreed on a compromise
The case of Josh Primo, the Spurs and the psychologist who filed a lawsuit against both, alleging the young security guard was a showman, has been settled and San Antonio announced the three sides have reached an agreement.
The special case of Josh Primo, the Spurs and Hilary Cotten from the team goes on record. This was reported by “Spurs”, who announced in their statement that a compromise had been reached between the three sides and the former team psychologist had withdrawn her complaints against the club and the Canadian Guard.
Spurs are recalled to have abruptly terminated Primo’s contract, with the Canadian keeper citing psychological reasons where he was known to be defating. A few days later, Cotten filed a lawsuit against Primo, alleging nine incidents and the Spurs’ failure to act. The case appeared to be going to court until the two sides eventually reached an agreement.
Now it remains to be seen what will follow and if those complaints are the tombstone in Primo’s mind to compete again in the NBA or if a team can be found that will give him a second chance
