Sandy Aldama continues to thrive in his second NBA season. The Canaries started out as a starter, putting up big moments, and has now become one of the main men on the second unit following the return of Jaren Jackson Jr.
That ability to adapt is what allows him to remain an important figure in Taylor Jenkins’ system, with his game against the Sacramento Kings being the best example. A duel where the The Grizzlies fought and foughtbut they couldn’t avoid defeat despite their big shutout, falling 113 to 109 at the hands of the Californians.

With 7 points on 3-of-9 attempts (33.3%), 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 block, Aldama made the most of his 16 minutes on the court.
The Spaniard was much more prominent in the first half compared to the second, because as the chances of victory disappeared, so did the rotation of Memphis. Despite this, the power forward has performed fantastically, leaving valuable energy on both sides of the court.
In particular, there was an action that reflected perfectly, starting with a spectacular plug Keegan Murray who ended up getting the rebound and giving an assist in transition:
