Incredible Nets, came back from -28 and beat the Knicks away
The Knicks led 38-18 in the first half and 54-26 midway through the second. That didn’t hurt the Nets at all, however, who began to gnaw at the difference until they countered in the fourth period to take a 97-99 lead thanks to a 15-0 streak! In the end it was Cam Thomas who made it 103-109 with a three with 7 seconds to go and “cleared” the game in awe of the – oddly numerous – friends of the Nets on the field.
Thomas with 21 points (16 in the fourth period) was the Nets’ leader, with Seth Curry adding 20 points and LaMarcus Aldridge adding 18 points and 10 rebounds.
For the Knicks, Julius Randle had 31 points and 10 rebounds and Immanuel Quickley had 18 points.
