Trouble with Leonard and George at the Clippers, unknown when they will return
Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are still injured and the Clippers are yet to set a clear timeline for the return of their two stars.
The Clippers saw Kawhi Leonard and Paul George sit out the game against the Warriors (124-107 loss) through injury. And apparently they don’t know when they’ll see both of them back on the pitch.
As reported by Tyronn Lue, there is no return plan for either of them just yet as Leonard is struggling with a sprained right ankle and George is dealing with biceps tendon problems in his right leg.
“I saw Leonard’s injury streak and it was a little bit worse than we thought.” The team’s coach specifically mentioned the moment the all-star forward twisted his ankle in the game against the Jazz, adding:In the morning he woke up and his leg was swollen. But we don’t have a schedule yet.” Lou added that it’s still uncertain when George will return.
For the record, the Clippers have maintained an 11-8 record so far despite a string of injuries (Luke Kennard is also out) in hopes that the return of injuries will help them look better on the track.
