Awesome pacers, they beat the nets of the sensational Durant
With four players at +20 points, the Pacers defeated the Nets 128-117 thanks to a terrible fourth quarter. Emotional Kevin Durant struggled alone in the fourth period.
The Pacers showed their teeth again. The Nets are still finding their teeth, which was evident in Indiana, where the Pacers won 128-117 thanks to a terrific 40-23 fourth quarter.
Buddy Hield’s 26 points led the way for the winners, with Myles Turner adding 23 points, Tyrese Halliburton 21 points and 15 assists and Benedict Mathurin 20 points on a night when the Pacers trailed most of the game before falling in the fourth period broke out.
For the Nets, Kevin Durant had 36 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists, including 20 of the team’s 23 points(!) in the fourth quarter as he single-handedly kept his team in the game. From there, Ben Simmons and Kyrie Irving each had 20 points, but they did little to help the team’s star in the end.
