Jokic leads Nuggets to victory over Clippers in LA
With Nikola Jokic making an “erasable” double-double, the Nuggets defeated LA to win 114-104 over the – sans Leonard, George – Clippers.
The nuggets slowly find a rhythm. Meeting the Clippers without Leonard and George without Leonard in LA certainly helped in that direction, with Denver prevailing 104-114 for their third win in 4 games.
Aaron Gordon was the lead scorer for the winners with 29 points, with Jamal Murray adding 21 points and Nikola Jokic adding 19 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists, in a “clear” double-double.
With the Clippers, John Wall had 23 points, Terrence Mann had 16 points, and Marcus Morris had 15 points.
