Tatum is out for a few days with a sprain
Bad news for the Celtics as Jayson Tatum has sprained his left ankle and will be out for a few days but it doesn’t seem to be a cause for concern.
Jayson Tatum is struggling with a sprained left ankle and the Celtics are looking to protect him by first announcing their star has been ruled out of the team’s next game – against the Wizards.
Tatum was injured in the Celtics’ last game against the Kings (a 122-104 win), but at the time it didn’t seem like he was in serious trouble. The game against Washington is the first the all-star forward will miss, with the Celtics now having just two players who have played in all of the team’s games to date: Derrick White and Sam Houser.
This season, Tatum is averaging 30.5 points, 7.9 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 1.2 blocks in 37 minutes of play.
