Embiid and Tatum made hot returns to the Sixers and Celtics

Joel Embiid scored 7 of his 30 points in the last minute to seal the Sixers’ 104-101 win over the Hawks. The Cameroonian center has not featured in Philadelphia’s last four games but has returned as if not a day has passed.

Tobias Harris and Shake Milton with 24 and 21 points, respectively, also helped Doc Rivers’ team offensively, while Trae Young (18 points, 10 assists) and Clint Capela (10 points, 16 rebounds) stood out for the Hawks.

Jayson Tatum missed just one game and very quickly overcame the sprain he sustained. The Celtics’ American guard scored 35 points in Boston’s comfortable 140-105 win over the Hornets. Behind Tatum was Marcus Smart, who had a double-double with 22 points and 15 assists. Malcolm Brogdon’s offer is 21 points.

For Charlotte, Jaylen McDaniels had 24 points and Kelly Oubre had 22.
