Terrible Clippers, beat Portland coming back from -18

The – without Leonard, George – Clippers once again showed character and came back from -18 led by Norman Powell against the – without Lillard – Blazers in Portland and took the win 118-112.

The Clippers are still waiting for Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. Until then, they’re grabbing as many wins as they can, most recently with an 18-point win over the Blazers in Portland, where they beat their rivals 112-118.


The – without Lillard – Portland had the lead from the start while hitting +18 in the third period (83-65 and 91-73). But the Clippers never gave up, leveling the game early in the fourth quarter thanks to a 12-0 run 98-98, going into the next period with a 100-101 lead and finally making the shots and shots they wanted needed to win.

Norman Powell led the Clippers with 32 points (22 of them in the fourth quarter), with Reggie Jackson adding 24 points and 12 assists and Robert Covington adding 15 points.

With the Blazers, Anferni Simons had 37 points on 9/16 three-pointers, Jerami Grant had 32 points, and Jusuf Nurkic had 13 points and 10 rebounds.
