Terrible Pokuszewski with double-double in Thunder’s loss to Cavaliers

Alexei Pokushevsky had one of his best performances of the year with 16 points and 14 rebounds against the Cavaliers, but Cleveland eventually found a way to earn a 110-102 win over the Thunder.

Alexei Pokushevsky was called upon to face one of the NBA’s top major duos, Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley. However, he lived up to expectations – and more than that – but his performance fell short of the Thunder as the Cavaliers won 110-102.


The Serbian forward was outstanding, finishing with 16 points on 6/14 shooting (3/3 threes), 1/2 field goals, 14 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals and 2 turnovers in 34 minutes in one of the fullest of his performances of the season Year.

Carys LeVert led by 22 points, Mobley and Allen had 21 points each for a Cleveland team that even reached +17. Temporarily strained when the Thunder were even 89-89 in the fourth quarter, but he did what it took to win.

For the Thunder, Cy Gilgeous-Alexander had 23 points and Josh Giddy had 17 points and 13 rebounds.
