Mavericks vs. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Mark Cuban takes NBA calls

Angered at the referees, Mark Cuban calls the NBA and demands that Giannis Antetokounmpo be charged with a 10-second offense if his free-throw routine times out.

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s routine from the line has changed several times over the years. What hasn’t changed in recent years is his opponents’ grumblings about the Greek freak’s time before he is executed, with the Mavericks being the last (in time) team to rant to the NBA about the Bucks’ superstar.

According to the Dallas News, the Mavericks’ owner was upset with the Greek freak’s time at the Nov. 27 showdown at the Fiserv Forum and called the league to air his grievances.

A few days later, Dallas hosted Milwaukee, and according to Mark Cuban, Antetokounmpo had 12 seconds to shoot (he was 7/10). Cuban claims the umpires should have punished him, especially since the issue has been raised in the upper echelons of the NBA in recent days.

The truth is, Antetokounmpo has been charged with two 10-second fouls in the Bucks’ recent games.

Giannis has been working on a 5-6 second performance all summer, according to FIBA regulations he had no problem during EuroBasket 2022 with the Greek national team, but now the voices are getting louder again as we must not forget what happened during the Bucks-Lakers game when Russell Westbrook yelled to convince the umpires.
