Williamson on the Coronavirus Protocol
Bad news for the Pelicans as Zion Williamson has entered coronavirus protocol and will miss at least one of the team’s games.
Zion Williamson will not join the Pelicans in the Spurs game. The wild forward entered coronavirus protocol, which saw him ruled out of the game against Spurs and possibly one or more games.
It is currently unknown if Williamson was ill or in contact with a case, or if he was vaccinated. Either way, he will definitely miss a game and it remains to be seen what happens next.
This season, Williamson has averaged 25.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.2 steals in 33 minutes of play.
