Giannis Antetokounmpo was upset about Nick Claxton’s move
Nick Claxton’s decision to ‘crash’ him after a surprise dunk angered Giannis Antetokounmpo, who made sure to show the young Nets center his…opinion on his move.
The Nets’ duel with the Bucks was almost halfway through the second period when Giannis Antetokounmpo lost the ball and the home side pulled off an upset. Nick Claxton nailed the two simplest points of the night, but then purposely “crashed,” “chased,” the annoyed Greek freak, declaring that he shouldn’t be doing that.
In the following stages, Antetokounmpo conceded a foul from Claxton and his irritation, which also saw the Nets big man handed a technical penalty that sent him to the bench. However, prior to the jamball, there was another person trying to “crash” Giannis. It was Ben Simmons who recently made disparaging remarks about the Greek freak. Beautiful moments that show that there is still competition and trash talk in the NBA.
