The nba it moves at such breakneck speed that it can be hard to keep up with the bigger stories, let alone what happens over the course of a year.
But before this current season hits the halfway point and the schedule changes to 2023it’s time to hit the pause button and appreciate everything that happened this year 2022.
This has been a great year for the NBA level. In this review there will be moments that are impossible to put aside, others that are more fun and some that are very specific.

The summary of the year 2022 in the NBA
Best Performance: Stephen Curry
There were no other candidates. After another All-NBA season, Curry had the best performance of his career in the fourth game from finals against the elite Celtics defense, scoring 43 points on 14 of 26 shooting.
The Warriors went on to win the next two games to close out the series, and Steph picked up his first Finals MVP award after avg. 31.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2 steals.
Whether it’s that Game 4 or the entire tie, Curry deserves credit for his brilliance.
Biggest Career Trade: Andrew Wiggins (Warriors)
Speaking of the Warriors, how can i forget wiggins? The 27-year-old forward became a staple in Golden State’s rotation, making his first All-Star Game selection and starting.
He later took his game to another level during the Californians’ championship run. He accepted the task of guarding the opponent’s best player on every drive, contributed rebounds and was a Consistent secondary scorer.
Wiggins was just a different player than we saw in Minnesota. He may never live up to the “Maple Jordan” nickname he received as a youngster, but he has shown he can thrive in the right role.
Call to Succeed: Jayson Tatum
Tatum and the Celtics fell two wins short of the title, but the forward has a bright future ahead of him.
She was 24 years old All-NBA for the first time in his career last season. Now, he looks like a legitimate MVP candidate on the best team in the Eastern Conference.
Boston should be a contender for years to come, largely because of Tatum’s rapid development.
Best highlight: Ja Morant
Picking just one Ja Morant highlight is an impossible task. Nevertheless, we decided to stick with this one specifically:

better performance in clutch: DeMar DeRozan (Bulls)
DeRozan she was “King of the Fourth” [El Rey del cuarto] last season, he led the scoring going into the final round by nearly 100 points.

Favorite Role: Jose Alvarado
How do you become a fan favorite when you only play 15 minutes a night? Only Jose Alvarado has the answer.
The Puerto Rican is known around the league for his ability to sneak up on opponents with the ball and take it away. And even when he doesn’t get a steal, he’s still a constant threat.
Just listen to the excitement from the Smoothie King Center as Alvarado forces Chris Paul into an 8-second violation to cross the court.
As Reggie Miller said, Alvarado becomes a “cult hero” in New Orleans.

Best Video Game Performance: Luka Doncic
As if it were NBA 2K, Luka Doncic pulled off a statistical feat that was almost impossible to pull off.
On December 27, the Mavs star took 60 points, 21 rebounds and 10 assists in the overtime win over the Knicks, which was the first 60-20-10 triple-double in history.
