Jokic brilliantly leads the nuggets and conquers the Heat with a triple-double
With Nikola Jokic hitting his 8th triple-double of the year, the Nuggets beat the Heat 124-119. LaVine led the Pistons with 43 points, the Raptors beat the Suns, the Wizards easily beat the Magic, the Kings beat the Jazz in a Thriller.
The nuggets are back to positive results. And they owe it to…the usual suspects and society, with Denver beating the Heat 124-119 and pulling off an upset in the 4th quarter.
Nikola Jokic with 19 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists led the way for the winners, with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scoring 20 points on 7/7 shooting (4/4 3-points) and Bones Hyland 16 points while Jamal Murray had 7 scored his 14 points in the last game.
For the Heat, Tyler Hero had 26 points, Bam Adebayo had 22 points, and Max Struss had 19 points.
THE DODECALPTA: 23-19, 60-57, 85-90, 124-119
Bulls – Pistons 132-118
Zach LaVine had his best performance of the year leading the Bulls to a 132-118 victory over the Pistons, with Chicago riding on a 17-3 run to avoid a tense finale.
LaVine was unstoppable, finishing with 43 points on 10/11 2 points and 5/9 3 points to lead his team, with DeMar DeRozan adding 22 points and Nikola Vucevic adding 19 points.
For the Pistons, Jaden Ivey had 22 points, Bojan Bogdanovic had 20 points, and Alec Burks had 19 points.

Birds of Prey – Suns 113-104
The Raptors were – once again – without Fred VanVleet and Precious Athua against the Suns, who were without Devin Booker, Cameron Johnson, Cameron Payne and Landry Shamet. It turned out that Phoenix’s absence was more important as Toronto won 113-104 and returned to positive results after a 5-game losing streak.
Gary Trent with 35 points led the winners, Pascal Siakam added 26 points and Augie Anunoby 16 points.
With the Suns, Mikal Bridges had 21 points and Chris Paul had 20 points and 12 assists (but also 6 turnovers).
THE DODECALPTA: 33-24, 53-51, 86-79, 113-104
Kings – Jazz 126-125
A shocking game was played in Sacramento, with the Kings ending the game 126-125 thanks to a three-pointer from Kevin Herter with 9.2 seconds remaining. Lauri Markkanen got the Jazz’s final drive but missed a shot which he attempted in the end.
Herter was the winners’ leader with 30 points and 6/10 threes, with Domantas Sabonis adding 28 points and 11 rebounds and De’Aaron Fox adding 24 points (but 10/24 shooting) and 10 assists.
In the Jazz, Lauri Markkanen had 36 points, Jordan Clarkson had 25 points and Mike Conley had 17 points.
THE DODECALPTA: 30-27, 60-57, 91-87, 126-125
Magic – Wizards 100-119
The Wizards took on the Magic without Bradley Beal. Orlando only had 8 players available due to injuries and – most importantly – suspensions their players carried due to the Detroit brawl. Washington jumped at the opportunity and won 100-119 in Orlando in a match that actually led by 30 points.
Kristaps Porzings’ 30 points and 13 rebounds led the winner, with Kyle Kuzma adding 23 points and Rui Hachimura adding 16 points.
For magic, Franz Wagner had 28 points and Paolo Banquero had 21 points.
THE DODECALPTA: 20-27, 47-56, 73-98, 100-119
