Adam Silver: “I’m not at all ready to talk about the post-LeBron season in the NBA”
Honestly, Adam Silver referenced his comments about the post-LeBron James era in the NBA and admitted that he’s not ready to discuss such a thing right now.
LeBron James, still 37, is the “face” of the NBA, the league’s ambassador to the world. However, it makes sense to slowly start talking about who will succeed him in this role. However, Adam Silver is not ready to have that discussion.
The commissioner of the world’s top division was arrested after speaking to a reporter from Yahoo! Sports” to comment on the matter, and she was honest. “I want to be clear: I’m not ready to talk about the post-LeBron era.” Silver first said and then added:
“I don’t think it’s because I’m in… denial. LeBron won a championship less than 1.5 years ago. In my opinion, he still plays the league at the highest level.”
Concluding the issue, Silver emphasized: “Eventually, a new player or players will emerge and take that leadership role in the league. It always happens like this. “I’m just not at all ready to think about the league without LeBron because he’s continued to be so consistent and focused on that level of competition, but also the NBA in general.”
