Zion Williamson hit the calf and sounded the alarm

The New Orleans Pelicans lost a game and a player that night and are now awaiting the extent of the damage from Zion Williamson.

The New Orleans Pelicans saw Joel Embiid fumble and force them to a loss, but that was all that happened in the early hours of January 3rd. The biggest is Zion Williamson’s injury.

The tall 22-year-old had to go to the dressing room with calf problems at the end of the third period, but the extent of the damage was unclear. In the first year, no one in the New Orleans organization could explain exactly what happened, but it seems certain that the rotation won’t include his own name anytime soon.

Of course, what New Orleans is hoping for is that the damage is minor and doesn’t keep him in the “places” for long.
