Isaiah Thomas vs. Michael Jordan has been known for over three decades. At the All Star Game in Cleveland, the former Pistons guard ignored the Bulls legend laughing behind Magic Johnson and didn’t even bother to speak to him. An admittedly awkward moment.

Isaiah Thomas and Michael Jordan have a rivalry that has lasted more than three decades. There seems to be a mutual appreciation for basketball, with MJ even calling the former Detroit Pistons legend the second-best point guard behind only Magic Johnson on “Last Dance.” However, on a personal level there is no appreciation to this day and it all started with their fights in the late 80’s and early 90’s.

The two were at the All Star Game in Cleveland, at the event for the 75 best in the history of the NBA (including Giannis Antitokoumbo, of course) and there was another – rather embarrassing – incident that proves to this day the “from afar and Love”.

Thomas greeted Magic and even said something in his ear for a few seconds, while behind the former Lakers star Jordan stood looking into the…gap and had a wry smile. Probably because he expected Thomas not to shake his hand when he left shortly after.

Jordan laughed, apparently started talking to Johnson about the incident, and they joked with each other. Air Mike, of course, made no move to speak to Thomas either. They just decided that it was best for both of them to pretend there was “nothing” for each other…
