On Thursday, January 12, the nba reveal it second count from vote of fans for her All Star Game 2023.
All voting for the 2023 All-Star Game is done through NBA.com or the NBA app, with the fan vote accounting for 50% of the final vote to select the top 10 starters for the game.
The remaining 50% comes from current players in the league (25%) and a group of media members (25%).

The fans collect 50% of the votes to decide the All Star starters. NBA players and a media panel each account for 25%.
Voting for the NBA All-Star Game began on December 20th and continues until 11:59 PM ET on January 21st. The race will be held on Sunday, February 19 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The toughest fights to be a starter
With Kevin Durant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jayson Tatum and Joel Embiid fighting for three spots within the Eastern Conference, we knew this would be the closest All-Star position race. Durant and Antetokounmpo remain in the top two, but Tatum (3,281,124) passed Embiid (3,248,733) in the second count.
The Western Conference frontcourt is also vying for the final spot. While James and Jokic appear to have secured their spots, Anthony Davis (2,950,563) is just ahead of Zion Williamson (2,856,121) for the ultimate starting spot in the eyes of fans.
Fans have made it clear they want an East backcourt of Irving (3,024,833) and Mitchell (2,725,558), but James Harden (1,571,039) and Jaylen Brown (1,512,332) are still in contention. Mitchell’s position.

In the West, the biggest difference from the first count is that Warriors center Kevon Looney passed Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard for ninth in frontcourt voting. In the backcourt, De’Aaron Fox has moved into Jordan Poole’s spot as the 10th-most votes, looking for his first All Star Game appearance.
In the East, Knicks forward Julius Randle replaced Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen as the 10th most voted frontcourt. There were no changes among the top ten in the Eastern rear.
