Kyrie Irving will also play home games, dates change this season
New York will end vaccination requirements, with Kairi Irving soon becoming a full-time player for the Brooklyn Nets.
Great news for the Nets, great news for Steve Nash as the Mayor of New York announced on Wednesday (2/23) that the state will be vaccinating in the next -few- weeks, meaning Kairi Irving has the right to attend the Brooklyn team’s home games.
The experienced guard remains unvaccinated and currently only plays in away games. In 14 appearances, he has 24.1 points (49.5% on two points, 36.8% on three points, 92.5% on shots), 4.8 rebounds, 5.4 assists and a steal every 36.2 minutes. Of course, Irving’s availability changes dates, as the Nets will have him full-time alongside Ben Simmons – Kevin Durand – in the playoffs.
