Incredible Edwards executed with 44 points for the Rockets, valuable win for the Suns over the Pacers

While Anthony Edwards worked wonders by finishing the game with 44 points, the Wolves edged the Rockets 113-104. Big win for the injured Suns 112-107 against the also injured Pacers.

Anthony Edwards has taken his performance to another level and has been wearing Wolves for some time now. He did the same against the Rockets and had one of the best nights of his career leading Minnesota to a 113-104 win.

The one-time NBA draft pick was in terrific form, finishing the game with 44 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks, and doing pretty much anything for the — once again, Gober and Towns-less Wolves — who were improving Record until 24-24.

DiAngelo Russell with 23 points and Nathan Knight with 19 points trailed Edwards in performance for a Minnesota who climbed to 6th in the west.

For the Rockets, who suffered their 13th straight loss, Alperen Sengun had 19 points and 16 rebounds and Kenyon Martin had 15 points while Jaylen Green had 10 points on a shooting of 3/13.

The Suns, however, take wins wherever they can. Luckily for them, the night they didn’t have Paul, Paul, Booker and Ayton faced Indiana without Haliburton and won 112-107, improving their record to 23-24. The Pacers had a chance to send the game into overtime with a score of 110-107, but Buddy Hield’s 3-pointer missed the target.

Josh Okoji was the top scorer for the winners with 24 points, with Mikal Bridges adding 22 points and Damien Lee adding 16 points.

With the Pacers, Benedict Mathurin had 23 points (but on the 6th/17th shooting), Hield had 22 points, and TJ McConnell had 18 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists.
