War in Ukraine: Len and Mikhailuk sent a message of support
Alex Len and Sviatoslav Mikhalyuk sent their own message in a joint letter to their compatriots in Ukraine.
Alex Len of the Kings and Sviatoslav Mikhalyuk of the Raptors sent a message of support to their fellow Ukrainians in a joint letter. The two Ukrainian NBA players are separated from their families and homes as war breaks out in their country and the Russians invade Ukraine.
Through their joint letter, the two showed that they should not forget their homeland, while emphasizing that unity will defeat and redeem Ukrainians.
“Our homeland, Ukraine, has been struck by a great tragedy. We condemn the war. Ukraine is a peaceful country with people who want to decide their fate. We pray for our families, friends and homes in Ukraine and hope that the war will end as soon as possible. The Ukrainians are holding on. Our strength is unity. We are with you”.
