Luka Doncic went from good to bad as his own miss from the line and a personal foul on Kuzma sealed the game. Instead of putting his team ahead, he sent the major league forward to the line, he had 1/2 with 4.2” to go and shaped the end result.
The Mavs had asked for a tackle in the decisive phase, but the whistle against the Slovenian star remained as it was. As was the result despite trying to stage a desperate pass attempt (which was intercepted) for Dinwiddie. It was Dallas’ eighth loss in their last 11 games.
