Embiid celebrated, as D-Generation X and Durant told him on Twitter
Online skirmish between Kevin Durant and Joel Embiid as the Nets star heads to the Sixers Center for his celebration.
Joel Embiid got a little more passionate – than he should have – in the Sixers’ game against the Nets and celebrated like them D-Generation X (pp. a group of WWE wrestlers) when he was fouled midway through the third period.
Kevin Durant, who was watching the game on TV as he is on the pitch with an injury problem at the time, tweeted at the same time describing the Sixers center move “pathetic” and tag him to make sure he sees it. At the end of the match, Embiid’s response added even more fuel to the fire.
