Giannis: “My goal in the All Star Game is to beat LeBron”
Giannis Antetokounmpo was fired up after the Bucks’ win over the Pacers, and speaking about his All-Star Game goal, he said he wants to beat LeBron James, who has remained undefeated since the system change.
Giannis Antetokounmpo wants to beat LeBron James. He said that between serious and funny after the game against the Pacers (a 141-131 win for the Bucks), where he stopped 41 points.
The “Greek Freak” spoke to the media, and when the conversation turned to the All Star Game, where he was voted captain of one team and LeBron became captain of the other, he was asked about his goals. After initially stressing that he wants to have a good time and doesn’t take his attendance at the NBA celebration for granted (it will be his seventh straight attendance), he stressed that he will choose Jrue Holiday on his team and spoke then his big goal:
“The goal is to beat LeBron’s team. They say GM LeBron has never lost in the All Star Game and I hope this is the first time he’s lost.”
