After a shocking match decided in second overtime, the Spurs won 157-153 in Washington, with Murray and Johnson delivering a great match.

Spurs held out against the Wizards in Washington to win the thriller 157-153 in the second overtime, improving their tally to 24-36 (they’re 11th in the West). The game was a real derby, because with 1’20” left and the score in Spurs’ favour, the Wizards led a series of 8-0, equalized and sent the game into overtime.

The first overtime missed the winner, but in the second overtime the visitors put their foot down, ran their own streak and clinched the valuable Washington double. For the Spurs, Murray shocked as he hit a triple-double with 31 points, 13 rebounds and 14 assists while Johnson had 32 points with 5/9 three points in what was a highly productive night for him.

Standing out at the Wizards was Kuzma, who finished the match with 36 points, while Neto (who judged the first overtime with his own shot) had 22 points and 9 assists.
