Harden considers it a disrespect to himself that he will not participate in the All Star Game
James Harden, in his own way – via his official account on Instagram – showed his disappointment at not being voted into the All Star Game reserve team by the coaches, speaks of disrespect.
The NBA announced the alternatives for the All Star Game 2023. As every year, there were some culprits. But there is one player who finds it disrespectful that the coaches did not include him in the reserve team: James Harden.
“Mousias” saw a streak of 10 consecutive All Star Games in a season in which he averaged 21.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 11 assists and 1.2 steals on 39.4% shooting in 37 minutes, with the Sixers were in 3rd place East. And he made sure to show his irritation in a simple — but clear — way.
Shortly after the names were announced, Harden posted a black background message on his Instagram Stories with the following phrase: “Disrespect.”
It remains to be seen whether Harden will comment on this at some point, because it must be assumed that he will be asked.
