LeBron James officially made history. In the Lakers game against the Thunder, the “King” overtook Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to become the NBA’s all-time leading scorer.

LeBron James is the most successful scorer in NBA history. “The King” met his fate in the Lakers game against the Thunder, surpassing the legendary Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s 38,387 points and becoming the all-time leading scorer.

On a dedicated night with Abdul-Jabbar on court, LeBron needed 36 points to break the seemingly impossible record. He had 20 points in the first half. He scored 36 points with 10.9 seconds left in the third period with a fade away shot to cut it to 99-104. And he made history. The game has been interrupted. Photographers entered the dance floor. Karim adored him. Everything else was history
