Magical Lillard, who came up with 30 points and a triple-double for the Warriors
With Damien Lillard stopping at 33 points and hitting a triple-double, the Blazers beat the Warriors 125-122 and climbed to 10th place in the West.
The battle for the Western Play-in tournament and a place in the playoffs continues unabated. The Blazers and – minus Steph Curry – Warriors put up another fight with that goal in mind, with Portland winning 125-122 and moving up to 10th place in the West (27-28), a breath away from 9th Golden State ( 28-27).
Damian Lillard was generally off (8/21 shooting, including 1/7 threes but 16/16 field goals), but he led the Blazers with 33 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists. Jerami Grant followed close behind with 22 points while Shaedon Sharp added 13 points.
With the Warriors, Jordan Poole had 38 points on 7/12 3-point shooting and Klay Thompson had 31 points on 7/19 3-point shooting, with Donte DiVincenzo adding 18 points.
