The Milwaukee Bucks have the big target before the close

From Phoenix to Milwaukee via… Brooklyn Jae Crowder who became a Bucks player after several months of flirting. Three have said goodbye to the Stags destined for the Indiana Pacers.

They had chosen him as their first target and now Jae Crowder is theirs. The Bucks acquired the veteran guard/forward from the Nets, who he joined from the Phoenix Suns on Thursday morning (9/2), and filled their bench with quality, toughness and one more solution ahead of the final leg of the regular season and the playoffs .

The 32-year-old, 6’2″ winger has played for the Mavericks, Celtics, Cavaliers, Jazz, Grizzlies, Suns and in 735 regular-season games he’s averaging 9.6 points (34.6% from three), 3 .6 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.6 steals per 25.3 minutes. In return, the Nets received five second-round draft picks, according to Athletic’s Sams Sarania.

To facilitate the trade, the Nets and Bucks also bring the Pacers into the equation. Jordan Nuwara, Serge Ibaka and George Hill went to Indianapolis along with two draft picks from Milwaukee, with Rick Carlisle’s team releasing Georgia center Goga Bitatze.
